HAPPY MAMA’S DAY!!!
I thank her not for bearing me for nine months until I born to see the earth’s beauty, but I thank GOD for letting me born through HER.
I thank her not for her effort of nurturing me, but I thank GOD that SHE is the one who nurtures me.
I thank her not for enduring me plus all the advice she’s given me, but I thank GOD for all those privileges to hear them from HER.
I thank her not for loving me despite my flaws being a daughter, but I thank GOD that she still gives me a place in her heart, and that’s a favour.
I thank her not for doing more than what she ought to do as a mother, but I thank GOD for this grace of being under her unique loving care.
She is not responsible of me, but she grabbed the burden for my growth. She is not obliged, but she preferred to be chosen to nourish my body, soul, and spirit, of GOD.
We are all meant to be born, but not all of us are meant to be given with this most wonderful favour of being a son/daughter of my Mama. And that’s what I’m grateful of.
We may hear the same advice from other people, taste the same specie of care, esp. from foster moms, but Mama’s so special. It’s different to hear them all from her melodious voice, out of her kind of love, out of her person.
Mama — she is beautiful, she is lovely, she blooms, she has a good heart, she is pretty, she is wonderful, she sings, she has a voice of a nightingale, she knows what she does, she is the symphony that harmonizes the household’s souls, she makes us paint in airs, she makes us embrace her, she makes us cry for joy, she comforts, she teaches, she writes, she plays piano, she speaks, she thinks, she stands, she submits, she takes care, she fights, she loves, she is virtuous, she is just so victorious and so wonderful that I cannot fathom how graceful we are to be under her shed — the most secured shed GOD has given us for a refuge, the shed most wanted by many, was being chased by the already-homed’s. She is a gift, one of the most beautiful gifts GOD has specially blessed us with.
And while they cannot ever reach this place I’m living under, this place which they’ve been so much dreaming for life, I, being a daughter, am so grateful, joyful, more than contented, for having the gift of inheriting her blood, her genes, her being — to which I do not deserve.
Thank YOU, my LORD, for my Mama Noona (named by Von).
